Genesis Executive Search is committed to protecting the confidentiality of sensitive information provided to us by our clients and candidates and to handling your information in a responsible manner.  This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose your information, how you may access that information and how you may seek the correction of any information. It also explains how you may make a complaint about a breach of confidentiality. From time to time we may make changes to our policy, processes, and systems in relation to how we handle your information. We will update this Confidentiality Policy to reflect any changes. Those changes will be available on our website and in the practice.

Collection of Data
We collect information that is necessary and relevant to provide our clients and candidates with high-quality service. This information includes personal, professional, educational, competitor, and general business information. This information will be stored on our password-protected computer records and email systems.
This information will be provided by you or obtained from market sources depending on its reliability. 


Use and Disclosure
We will treat this information as strictly private and confidential. We will only use or disclose it for purposes directly related to our service and disclose our client names for marketing purposes only. Resumes provided to our clients are used with complete or partially protected information, as deemed suitable by us.
Data Quality and Security
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information is accurate, complete, up to date, and relevant. For this purpose, our team may ask you to confirm that your details are correct when you are contacted. We request that you let us know if any of the information we hold about you or your business is incorrect or out of date.
All information that we hold is protected by:
securing our premises;
placing passwords and varying access levels on databases to limit access and protect electronic information from unauthorized interference, access, modification, and disclosure.
If you believe that the information we have about you(candidate) or your business (client) is not accurate, complete or up-to-date, we ask that you contact us in writing.
You are entitled to request access to the information we hold that has been provided by you. We request that you put your request in writing and we will respond to it within a reasonable time.
We may deny access to information in special circumstances such as "unauthorized persons" contacting us.
If you have a complaint about the confidentiality of information, we request that you contact us in writing. Upon receipt of a complaint, we will consider the details and attempt to resolve it in accordance with our complaint handling procedures.
